Will this course help me get a job in motorsport?

This course has been created to respond to motorsport employers' shortage of skilled staff and has been designed with their help. Our tutors are experienced professionals currently working for racing teams and you will be learning techniques and strategies that those racing teams are currently using. On completion of this course, you will be in the perfect position to land yourself a job as a race engineer in the UK or abroad.

Do I have to complete both Parts 1 and 2 or can I choose to do either?

We advise you to partake in all aspects of the course to gain the maximum benefit. You cannot attend Part 2 unless Part 1 has been successfully completed.

How old do I have to be?

18 or over.

What qualifications do I need?

This is an intensive course spread across two weekends. It is an excellent way of specialising in motorsport if you already have an engineering degree. You will need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of engineering principles to attend, if your qualifications are limited.

Can I get college/university credit for this course?

No. This course is recognised by the motorsport industry but is not accredited as a college/university course.

Do I need any special equipment or books?

No. All equipment will be provided.

On which days does the course run?

Saturday and Sunday.

What's the timetable?

09.00 – 17.00

Can you help me find accommodation for the course's duration?

We can send you a list of potential places to stay and for some, we have secured student discount - get in touch to find out more.

Do I have to pay for the course in full when I register?

Payment can be taken in full upon registration.

If you do not want to pay in full on booking, you have to pay a deposit of £225 and MUST pay the remaining balance by direct debit on 1st of each month up until 1st October.

For example: If you book in April to attend both weekends = £1,800. You pay £225 deposit on booking and pay 6 monthly instalments of £262.50 starting on 1st May and the final payment on 1st October. If you booked later, the monthly installments would increase to reflect the month of booking.

After 1st October, payment must be made in full on booking.
